Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) is an Indian herb used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine. It has a favourable effect on the immune system and reduces the symptoms of most upper respiratory tract infections, mainly due to the immuno-stimulatory activity of the andrographolide constituent.

Andrographis has been shown to be beneficial in supporting bacterial and viral upper respiratory tract infections by reducing the duration and severity of symptoms. In addition, it has been shown to significantly reduce the symptoms of sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis.

Echinacea is well known for its immune modulating and enhancing properties and can help support the treatment of infections in general, but especially upper respiratory tract infections and even sinusitis.
